KTVZ - "Z-21" : Central Oregon joined the television world back in 1977 when KTVZ flipped the switch and went on-air for the first time. For nearly 30 years, Central Oregon's NBC affiliate has become an integral part of life here, sponsoring many local charities and events as well as providing news and entertainment 24 hours a day.
Bend Golf & Country Club : Bend Golf & Country Club was established in 1925. The land was purchased from Brooks Scanlon for $1.00. This was a 9-hole course until 1971 when an additional 9 holes were added. In 1978 the dining room, kitchen and Athletic Center were added to the original clubhouse built in the early 60's. In March of 1996 we broke ground for a brand new Clubhouse.
